  • All rentals include:

    • Access from 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM for setup and reception

    • Multiple ceremony locations, including the historic ruins featuring the Grand Hearth

    • Lakeside patio with conversation seating

    • Café-style lighting

    • Built-in bar for beverage service

    • Parking and drop-off area (up to 130 vehicles)

    • Full venue cleanup (trash, floors, and bathrooms)

    • Grand Hearth: Available 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM
      (Events must conclude by 10:00 PM)

    • Beach: Available 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
      (Events must conclude by 8:00 PM)

    Guests must exit within 30 minutes of event end, and venue access ends at closing time regardless of cleanup status.

    • $250 non-refundable reservation fee to secure your date

    • Grand Hearth – $2,000

    • Beach Ceremony – $1,500

    • Combined Grand Hearth + Beach – $3,000

    • Reservation fee due at booking

    • 50% due 90 days prior

    • Final payment due 7 days prior to your event

  • We offer buffet-style catering through our Lakeside Bar & Grill, including:

    • Fajita Bar

    • Pasta Buffet

    • BBQ Bar

    • Brunch Buffet

    • Heavy Appetizer Buffet

    • Charcuterie Board

    Pricing ranges from $15–$29 per person depending on selection.

    Outside catering is permitted for a $250 service fee.

  • Yes. Mountain Lake Club is the exclusive provider of alcohol on the property.

    We offer:

    • Cash Bar

    • Open Bar

    • Host Bar

    • Split Bar

    Last call is 30 minutes before event end. No outside alcohol is permitted.

  • We offer:

    • Catering

    • Officiant services

    • Bartending

    • Day-of event coordination

    • Event insurance assistance

    • Luxury restroom rentals

  • Yes, you are welcome to bring your own vendors (DJ, photography, florist, etc.).

    We also provide trusted local referrals.

    All alcohol and bartending must be provided through Mountain Lake Club.

    We do have referrals for these offerings we’d be happy to provide and we do charge a $250 fee for use of an outside caterer.

  • We partner with Jefferson Rentals for:

    • Tents

    • Tables

    • Linens

    We are happy to help coordinate these based on your event layout.

  • Weather decisions are made by 6:00 PM the day prior in coordination with Mountain Lake Club management.

    We do not guarantee an indoor backup space, but we will make every effort to accommodate your event.

    Event insurance is strongly recommended.

  • Yes. Event insurance is required for outdoor events with 25+ guests.

    A Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be provided within 30 days and must name
    Shannondale Enterprises, Inc. DBA Mountain Lake Club as additional insured.

  • We aim to be flexible, but the following are not permitted:

    • Fireworks without a licensed pyrotechnician (exit sparklers permitted)

    • Chinese lanterns or balloon releases

    • Confetti, glitter, or similar materials

    • Rice, gum, or chewy candy

    • Fake flowers or petals outdoors (real flowers only)

    Additionally:

    • No nails, screws, or tape on structures

    • No open flame outside designated areas

  • Yes! Pets are welcome with supervision. A designated person must be responsible for care and cleanup.

  • We can comfortably accommodate weddings up to approximately 175 guests, depending on layout and setup.

  • Yes. Staffing is required for events with 50+ guests.

    • 1 bartender per up to 150 guests

    • 2 bartenders required for 150–250 guests

    All positions require a 4-hour minimum.

  • Yes. Due to our annual Lights on the Lake event, we are unable to host weddings from:

    October 15 through January 31

  • The Grand Hearth is L-shaped, with the main area 122’ long x 47’ wide plus extra side space.

    The outside patio with pillars offers exceptional lake views and is 74' long x 19' wide.
